Recently, Naimei Technology and Russia’s Etanora Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Moscow. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation on matters including the joint promotion of sodium-ion battery products and project implementation in Russia’s new energy market. This marks a crucial step in Naimei Technology’s overseas market layout.

Leveraging its core sodium-ion battery technologies and industrialization capabilities, Naimei Technology will provide full-spectrum technical support, product testing & certification, and after-sales services. Russia’s Etanora Company will capitalize on its local resources in Russia’s energy, industrial and end-customer sectors, taking charge of market channel development, project implementation and product delivery. Both parties will jointly advance the application of sodium-ion batteries in energy storage, power systems, backup power supplies and other fields.
Spanning the Eurasian continent, Russia boasts a vast territory. Most of its regions lie at high latitudes with long, frigid winters, imposing stringent requirements on batteries’ low-temperature performance, safety and high-rate capability. Sodium-ion batteries feature abundant raw material reserves, outstanding performance, long service life and controllable costs, making them well-suited to Russia’s frigid climate and energy transition needs. Under the agreement, the two sides will launch the construction of multiple new energy projects in the follow-up phase. It is projected to generate annual sales revenue of approximately RMB 50 million, building a model of Sino-Russian new energy industrial synergy.
This strategic cooperation with Etanora marks an important milestone for Naimei Technology’s foray into the international market. Drawing on their respective strengths, the two parties will jointly tap into new energy market resources in Russia and continuously push sodium-ion battery technology onto a broader global stage.
